Crispy Beer Battered Haddock
1 cup lager beer
1 cup flour
1 tbsp baking powder
Salt & pepper to taste
Combine all ingredients. The consistency should be slightly thicker than heavy cream.
1) To fry fish, take a 6-8oz portion of haddock & slice vertically down the middle
2) Dredge in flour then dip in beer batter
3) Remove excess batter & fry in 350F shortening for approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
