Junior Elite Golf Programme

  • For the more serious player, Caledon Country Club has developed an Advanced Junior Program for 2009. This program is aimed at working with juniors who have some experience with the game of golf and would like to develop those skills and achieve a higher level in their game.

The program will focus on many aspects of the game of golf. It will consist of golf fundamentals including the swing, bunker play, short game, and putting. In an effort to help the junior take their game to the next level, the program will also consist of golf course management, proper fitness routines, nutrition, the mental game, and how all of these factors contribute to realizing their potential on the course.

The professional staff will also provide assistance in choosing which GAO, RCGA, and local events will benefit the student and how to properly plan and prepare for those events.

This program will include weekly instruction on the range and short game areas as well as on course lessons. Range balls will be provided for those in the program.

The program will be held every Wednesday evening from 5 PM to 6:30 PM. Participants should try to schedule the entire evening as they will be encouraged to make time to be on course and play these evenings as well.

The Advanced Junior Program will begin Wednesday, May 13th and continue until the last Wednesday in September, the 30th.

The cost for this program will be $400.00 per student.
